Prepare the ingredients
After buying rambutan, peel off the skin and remove the seeds. Put 2 tea bags into a cup, add about 200ml of boiling water and steep the tea for about 15 – 20 minutes. You can add a little chia seeds to the tea cup.
Tip: If using dried whole leaf tea, you should use about 100ml of boiling water and then mix in 100ml of cold water, then steep for 15 – 20 minutes to preserve the aroma and nutrients of the tea. -
Make Rambutan Tea
After steeping the tea, add 50ml of rambutan water, stir well, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, adjust the sweetness to your liking, then add ice and peeled rambutan to finish.
Tip: If you are on a weight loss diet, you can use honey instead of sugar! -
Final Product
The rambutan tea after completion has a beautiful golden color and a faintly fragrant aroma that is very appealing.
When drinking, you will feel the coolness, the slight bitterness of the tea, the sweetness of the rambutan syrup combined with the crunchy peeled rambutan, which is extremely enticing.
