  • Choose beans that are of moderate size so that after cooking, they achieve the desired softness and rich flavor.
  • Avoid selecting beans that are too large, as these tend to taste bad, have less nutrition than smaller beans, and often produce a slight bitterness when eaten.

  • Soak the beans

    Soak the red beans in water for 8 hours.

    After the time is up, take the beans out, wash them thoroughly, and drain.

    Put the beans into the pot, then pour enough water to cover the beans, about 800ml.
