How to choose crunchy and delicious beef brisket
- You should buy brisket that has soft meat texture, looks not too fibrous, feels firm and has good elasticity when touched.
- In addition, fresh and delicious brisket usually has a bright red color, mixed with a few white streaks of fat, and has a distinctive meat smell.
- Avoid choosing brisket that is pale or dark red, with dark yellow fat, shows many blemishes on the meat surface, especially has a strange fishy smell and feels slimy and sticky when touched.

How to choose safe, chewy, and delicious pho noodles
- Depending on your preference, you can choose either fresh or dried pho noodles for today’s dish!
- For the fresh type, you should select noodles that are bright white, not turning an unusual color, and when pressed lightly with your fingers, they should feel soft and not easily break apart.
- You should avoid buying pho noodles that emit a musty or overly fishy smell, as these are noodles that have been stored too long and should not be used.
- For the dried type, you should carefully observe the product packaging and especially the expiration date!
- If you have time, you can make pho noodles at home with the quick recipe below from TasteVN to make the dish even more delicious.

How to cook beef pho using a pressure cooker
-
Simmer the beef brisket
Take the pressure cooker, add the beef brisket and 2 small pho seasoning cubes into the pot, pour in 1.5 liters of water and cook for 25 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the brisket, let it cool, and slice it thinly for serving.
-
Making the broth
First, pour the pho broth from the pressure cooker into a large pot, place the pot on the stove, and heat it over medium heat.
Next, season with 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 teaspoons of seasoning powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, stirring well for the spices to dissolve. You can adjust the amount of seasoning to suit your family’s taste.
Then, add the beef balls to the pot and let it simmer for about another 10 minutes. During the cooking process, remember to skim off the white foam so the pho broth is clear.
Finally, chop the green onions and add them to the pot, then turn off the heat.
Quickly blanch the pho noodles and place them in a bowl, then arrange the onion, beef brisket, and bean sprouts around the pho, and pour the pho broth over it to enjoy!

The finished product
The broth is fragrant, rich, with a light sweetness. The pho noodles are blanched just right, chewy and soft, paired with delicious beef brisket, mixed with the chewy tendons.
