- Fresh and delicious green tea leaves are those that are not shiny, small leaves, and have a uniformly dark green color.
- You should choose the older tips that have many medium-sized leaves (not too old and not too young).
- Avoid selecting leaves that are too old or damaged, as they will make the tea taste bitter when brewed.

Prepare the tea leaves
Pick the leaves, remove the old stems and spoiled leaves, then rinse several times with water. After that, soak the tea leaves in water for 10 minutes before brewing, then drain them.

Steep the tea
Gently crush the tea leaves and put them into the pot.
Next, to rinse the tea, pour 0.5 liters of boiling water into the pot, then gently shake the pot and pour the water out into a cup.
Then, pour 2.5 liters of boiling water into the pot and let it steep for 10 – 20 minutes for the tea to infuse. Finally, pour the previously used boiling water back into the pot to fill it up.
