- You should choose gac fruits that feel firm when held, and when gently pressed, the skin still feels slightly hard.
- You should not choose gac fruits that feel unevenly soft when pressed lightly, and do not buy those that are bruised or crushed.
How to prepare Gac porridge for babies

Prepare the gac
After buying gac, cut off the top part, scoop the gac flesh into a bowl and use a spoon to mash the gac pulp from the seeds.

Cook gac porridge
Place a pot on the stove and turn on medium heat, add 1 bowl of thick porridge and 200ml of water to the pot, then add the gac pulp and gac seeds and cook for about 3 – 4 minutes.
Next, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, stir well until the porridge grains are soft and sticky, then turn off the heat.
Tip: If you don’t use pre-made thick porridge, you can use soaked rice to cook porridge for about 30 minutes and then add the gac pulp to cook! -
Completion
You scoop the porridge into a bowl, remove the seeds of the gấc, and add 1/2 teaspoon of fish oil.
You stir well and wait for the porridge to cool down a bit before serving it to your baby.
