- Seaweed is actually marine algae. You can easily find it at grocery stores, supermarkets, TasteVN supermarkets nationwide, or you can buy it on the e-commerce site bachhoaxanh.com.
- Ginseng roots or the roots of the ginseng plant, have a diameter of about 1 – 2cm, with many roots. When cut, the inside is yellow and has a characteristic mild fragrance that is not unpleasant.
- Dry chrysanthemum flowers currently available on the market are mainly of two types: yellow chrysanthemum and white chrysanthemum, with prices generally ranging from 450,000 – 750,000 VND/kg. When buying, be sure to check for dryness, that the packaging is intact, and that it has complete production information and expiration date. Avoid choosing flowers that are damp or moldy.
- Lo Han Guo dried fruit has a brownish-yellow color, covered with a fine layer of fuzz, with a diameter of about 6 – 8cm. The outer skin is very brittle and easily crushed, and the seeds inside are flat and round. Make sure to choose hard fruits that do not make noise when shaken.
- Chinese foxglove is the bulb of the Rehmannia plant, so choose large bulbs that feel firm, are not sticky, and have thick fibers.

How to prepare Seaweed Ginseng Drink

Wash and soak the ingredients
Wash the seaweed and ginseng roots, then soak them for about 15 minutes. After that, wash off the sand stuck in the seaweed thoroughly. Remove the root of the pandan leaves and wash them clean.
Soak the chrysanthemum flowers along with the ginseng stems for about 10 minutes, then take them out and wash them clean. Wash the Rehmannia root thoroughly. Wash the monk fruit clean and cut it into 4 parts.

Cook the ginseng
Add the seaweed, ginseng roots, pandan leaves, chrysanthemum flowers, ginseng stems, Rehmannia root, monk fruit, and the concentrated extract into a pot.
Then add 6.5 liters of water along with 900g of rock sugar and cook over high heat until boiling, then lower the heat and continue cooking for about 20 minutes before turning off the stove.

Final Product
The seaweed herbal drink has a fragrant pandan leaf aroma, combined with the sweetness of monk fruit and rehmannia, which will give you a truly delicious and refreshing beverage!
How to Store Herbal Drink
After cooling, pour the seaweed herbal drink into a clean plastic or glass bottle that has been rinsed with boiling water, seal tightly, and place it in the refrigerator, where it can be used for 3 – 4 days. When drinking, pour it into a glass and immediately put the remaining part back in the refrigerator!
