How to prepare roasted peanuts using an air fryer
-
Prepare the peanuts
When you buy peanuts, you should soak them in saltwater for about 7 – 10 minutes to soften them, which will make them richer after cooking.
After that, take the peanuts out and let them dry completely. You can use paper towels or a soft cloth spread on a flat surface, then place the peanuts on top. Cover with the cloth and gently press with your hand to allow the paper or cloth to absorb any remaining moisture.
-
Add peanuts to the air fryer
Before adding the peanuts, you should preheat the fryer at 160 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes to stabilize the temperature.
Once the fryer is stable, add the peanuts, along with 1 teaspoon of cooking oil and 1/2 teaspoon of salt, then mix well.
Tip:- Adding oil when roasting the peanuts will help them become soft, shiny, and not dry when finished.
- However, you should not add too much oil as it will make the peanuts wet and soggy.
-
Roast peanuts using an air fryer

- Roasted peanuts after being processed for 12 hours will become soft and lose their crispness. If while the peanuts are still hot in step 4, you add a little white wine and mix well. Then, wait until the peanuts are nearly cool before adding salt (the salt should be dry roasted). This way, the peanuts can maintain their crunchiness and deliciousness for several days without becoming soggy.
- To keep roasted peanuts for a long time, you should store them in a jar or food container and place them in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
