  • Choose stomachs that do not have hard lumps inside, excessive liquid but feel non-slippery to the touch.
  • Do not buy stomachs that are bruised, have dark spots, or are pale green, with an unpleasant odor. Additionally, you should not buy frozen pig stomach as it will lose its crunchiness when cooked.

    After purchasing, rinse the pig’s stomach with water. To clean the mucus inside, massage the stomach with 1 cup of starch (rice bowl) for about 5 minutes. Then rinse 2 – 3 times with clean water and let it drain.
