How to Prepare Landscape Jelly

  • Blend Pandan Leaves

    Wash the pandan leaves, cut them into sections, and put them into the blender with 150ml of water, then blend until smooth. After that, pour the pandan water mixture through a sieve to extract the juice.

  • Making jelly

    You add 1.6 liters of water and 25 grams of jelly powder into a pot, stir well, and let it soak for 1 hour. After the time is up, you put the pot on the stove, cook over medium heat for about 12 – 15 minutes. Next, add 20 grams of rock sugar, stir continuously until you see it bubbling gently, then reduce the heat to keep it warm.

  • Poured jelly

    You place a pot on the stove, add 200 ml coconut milk and 100 gr condensed milk, and stir well. Then, pour 2/5 of the jelly mixture that you just cooked into it, mix well, and turn off the stove. Pour the coconut milk jelly mixture into a mold and let it sit for about 2 – 3 minutes.

    Next, add 3 tablespoons of pandan leaf extract into 1/5 of the jelly mixture, and stir well. After that, use a spoon to pour it around the surface of the coconut milk jelly that has been set in the mold.

    Continue by adding 3 tablespoons of coffee extract mixed with 1/5 of the jelly mixture and then spoon it onto the surface of the pandan jelly.

    Finally, evenly pour the remaining 1/5 of the jelly mixture on top and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set.

How to Prepare Jelly Landscape (recipe shared by a user)

  • Prepare the Ingredients

    Add to the pot a mixture of ingredients including: 20g of jelly powder, 350g of sugar, and 1.15 liters of clean water, stir well with a spoon and let the jelly soak for about 30 minutes.

    Wash the pandan leaves, cut them into small pieces, put them into the blender, add another 100ml of clean water, blend until smooth, then strain through a sieve to obtain the essence.

  • Cooking jelly

    You place the jelly pot on the stove, stirring continuously over medium heat for about 20 – 30 minutes until the jelly becomes smoother and thickens, then reduce to low heat while keeping the jelly pot on the stove.

  • Pouring jelly

    Prepare a bowl, use a spoon to scoop 650ml of the cooked jelly water into the bowl, then add all the coconut milk, stir well, and pour all the coconut milk jelly into the mold.

    The remaining jelly in the pot is divided into 2 parts: one part for adding all the pandan leaf extract, and one part for 100ml of black coffee, stirring well.

    When the coconut milk jelly in the mold has set into a thin layer, gently tap the surface of the coconut milk layer with a spoon to break it slightly, then alternately pour coffee jelly and pandan leaf jelly into the mold and create marbled patterns as desired.

    Do the same until all the jelly is used up, then let it sit outside for about 30 minutes before putting the jelly in the refrigerator.
