How to make Rose Apple Pie

Mixing the dough
Add 60g of unsalted butter and 45g of powdered sugar into a bowl, then use a mixer to blend the mixture at low speed.
Next, crack 1 egg into the bowl and continue mixing until the mixture is well combined, then stop.
For the dry mixture, mix 125g of flour with 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Divide the dry mixture into 3 parts. Sift each part into the butter and sugar mixture and use the mixer to blend them together.

Kneading the dough
Once you have mixed all the flour in the bowl, take the mixture out and knead it quickly until the dough sticks together into a smooth and elastic ball.

Take 2 apples, wash them, cut them in half, remove the seeds, and slice them thinly into crescent shapes.
To prevent the apples from browning, place the sliced apples in a bowl of cold ice water, squeeze a few drops of lemon juice into the bowl, and stir well.
Then, put the entire bowl of apples in the microwave and heat at medium temperature for 3 minutes.

Shaping and baking the pie
After 1 – 2 hours of the dough resting in the refrigerator, take the dough mixture out, knead it again, cut the dough into 3 pieces, roll it out thinly, and use a knife to cut it into 2 equal halves, each piece about 2 finger widths wide.
Take one piece of dough and place it on a cutting board, brush a layer of honey on it, layer the apples on the top half of the dough, and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder on top.
Then, fold the bottom half of the dough over the top half, rolling the dough to create the shape of a flower. Repeat with the remaining pieces of dough.
Place the rolled dough into a ceramic dish and bake for 25 – 30 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius.
