- Choose carrots that are straight in shape, with smooth skin, bright color, and feel firm and heavy when held.
- Avoid choosing carrots that have leaves or branches at the base, or that are thick and heavy at the shoulders, as these are often carrots with large cores, which are not sweet and contain fewer nutrients.
- Do not buy carrots that are misshapen, dark in color, bruised, or have unusual spots.
How to make Carrot Cheese Jam Balls

Prepare the ingredients
Wash the oranges, then grate the orange peel and extract the juice. Squeeze the calamondin for juice and cut the peel into strips.
Wash the carrots and cut them into small pieces. Chop the preserved plums.

Roll the cheese
Cut each Laughing Cow cheese into two pieces and roll them into balls.

Mix carrot jam with orange
Divide the carrots into two equal parts, placing each part into a bowl.
Take one part of the chopped carrots and mix it with half the sugar (equivalent to 120g). Add orange juice and grated orange peel, then mix well.

Mix carrot jam with dried plum
For the remaining chopped carrots, add half of the remaining sugar. Add calamondin juice, sliced calamondin peel, and dried plums. Mix the mixture well.

Cook the carrot jam
Gradually cook the two jam mixtures for about 20 minutes, until the mixture thickens.
Let it cool slightly and then divide the jam mixture into small, equal pieces.

Roll the jam in sugar
Take each piece of jam, place it in the center of a round cheese ball, and roll it up.
Then coat the jam with a layer of coconut.
