How to Make Cheese Sticks

Cut Mozzarella Cheese
Use a knife to cut the Mozzarella cheese into sticks with a thickness of about 1 – 2cm. You can cut the Mozzarella cheese either lengthwise or crosswise. The ideal length of a cheese stick is the length of a pinky finger.

Prepare the batter
Parsley leaves are cleaned, removing any wilted leaves, and washed thoroughly with water. Then drain and blend until smooth. Wash the pepper and drain, then grind finely.
Next, crack 2 eggs into a bowl, then add a bit of the ground pepper into the bowl, and mix the mixture well until combined.
Add breadcrumbs and flour into 2 different bowls. Then add the parsley into both bowls of flour and mix well. You can add a little salt and pepper to the flour to enhance its flavor. -
Coat with batter and cheese
After preparing the batter, you roll each cheese stick in turn through the flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumbs. To ensure an even coating, you need to roll it evenly so that the batter adheres and completely covers the surface of the cheese.
After coating the cheese with batter, place all the coated cheese sticks in the freezer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, then take them out and repeat the above steps. Although this takes a bit of time, your product will ensure crispness, deliciousness, and no cheese leakage.
After the second batter coating, continue to put the coated cheese sticks in the freezer. Let them sit for about 1.5 to 2 hours before taking them out. -
Fry the cheese
Place a pan on the stove, pour oil into the pan and heat until the oil is hot. Next, add the cheese to the pan and fry in hot oil for about 3-4 minutes until the cheese coating is golden brown.
Then remove the cheese and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Now you have completed the delicious cheese sticks just like from a restaurant! -
