    Place the chicken thighs in a bowl, then add 2/3 teaspoons of chicken seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, and 1 egg yolk, then use chopsticks to mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.

  • Prepare the apples and other ingredients

    After purchasing the apples, wash them thoroughly with water and then dice them. Next, peel the pineapple, remove the eyes, and then dice it as well.

    Then, peel the shallots, wash off any dirt on the skin, and slice them thinly.

    For the ginger, scrape off the skin and slice it into thin pieces. Finally, leaves of cinnamon should be picked, washed clean, and then chopped finely.

  • Make the apple sauce

    Pour about 300ml of apple sauce into a bowl, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/3 teaspoon of salt, and stir well.

  • Dusting and Frying Chicken

    You put 100g of flour into a large bowl, then use chopsticks to pick up the marinated chicken and roll it evenly in the flour.

    You place a pan on the stove and add about 400ml of cooking oil, filling 2/3 of the pan, and heat until boiling. After about 5 minutes, when the oil starts to boil, you add the floured chicken to fry in deep oil for about 5 – 7 minutes until the chicken is golden and crispy, then take it out to drain the oil.

    After that, you continue to heat the oil pan over high heat and fry the chicken again for 2 minutes; when the flour turns a beautiful golden color, take it out to drain. With this method, our chicken will stay crispy longer!

  • Sautéing Apples and Pineapples

    Heat a pan on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, and when the oil is hot, add sliced shallots and sliced ginger to sauté until fragrant.

    Add the diced apples and pineapples, stir well, then add the prepared apple sauce, cooking over high heat until the sauce boils for about 5 minutes.

  • Stir-fry chicken

    When the sauce reduces, add the chicken to stir-fry, shake the pan to let the chicken absorb the sauce evenly, then add the chopped basil leaves into the pan and stir well for about 2-3 minutes.

    Note: Remember to add the chicken only when the sauce is about to run out and shake it quickly to avoid making the chicken skin soft!

    Finally, add about 1 tablespoon of butter and stir well to finish! Turn off the heat, bring the dish to a plate, and you can sprinkle a little white sesame and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise sauce on top to enjoy right away.
