  • To buy fresh carrots, you should choose those that have a bright orange color, smooth, shiny skin, with no unusual spots, and feel firm when held.
  • Choose carrots of moderate size, with fresh green tops, not wilted, and with a small core in the middle, as these are sweet, juicy carrots.
  • Avoid buying carrots with a lot of leaves growing lush at the base or tops that are no longer fresh, detached from the root, and feel light when picked up, as they may be old carrots that don’t taste good.

  • Roll the rice

    After the rice is cooked and cooled, scoop it into a bowl and add 1 teaspoon of fish sauce and 1/2 of the roasted sesame seeds, then mix well.

    Next, place the seaweed on a bamboo mat or plastic wrap, then spread an even layer of the mixed rice on the seaweed. After that, add the ingredients such as fried eggs, sausages, carrots, cucumbers, and green beans on top of the rice layer horizontally, then roll it up tightly.

    Tip: Using a bamboo mat or plastic wrap to roll will help the sushi roll stay tight, making it taste better.

    After rolling, use a knife to cut the sushi roll into small slices that are bite-sized and sprinkle a little roasted sesame on top to finish.
