How to make Braised Pork with Pickled Shallots

Prepare the ingredients
To eliminate the odor of the meat, place a pot on the stove and boil about 1 liter of water. When the water is boiling, add the meat and blanch for about 1 minute. Then remove the meat to drain and cut it into thin slices.
Wash the green onions and cut them into pieces about 1 finger length.
Put the green pepper into a plastic bag, then crush it.

Marinate the meat
Marinate the meat with 1/3 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, 1.5 teaspoons of seasoning powder, 1/2 tablespoon of minced shallots, 1.5 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of annatto oil, then let the meat absorb the spices for 10 minutes.

Cook the meat
Place a clay pot on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to the pot, when the oil is hot, add 1/2 tablespoon of minced shallots to sauté until fragrant, then add the marinated meat and stir well until the meat is seared.
