How to Cook Hot Savory Bánh Đúc from Glutinous Rice Flour

Mix the batter
Put 80g of rice flour, 80g of glutinous rice flour, 80g of cassava starch, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt into a bowl and mix well.
Next, add 473ml of clean water and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and stir well until the batter dissolves.

Cook the dough
Place a pot on the stove, boil 473ml of water, then slowly add the rice cake dough mixture while stirring until the dough is cooked, thick, and smooth.

Stir-fry the filling
Slice about 3 – 4 shallots, fry until golden in a pan. Then take some out into a bowl, leaving a little in the pan.
Continue by adding 200g of minced pork, 56g of wood ear mushrooms, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, then stir until the meat is cooked.
Finally, add chopped green onions, stir again, then turn off the heat.

Make the dipping sauce
Put 1 tablespoon of sugar, 45ml of water, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, and 5ml of lemon juice into a bowl.
