Prepare the ingredients
The vegetarian beef slices you bought should be soaked in water for about 1 hour to let them expand. After that, rinse them thoroughly with water until the starchy residue is gone, and drain the vegetarian beef slices.
The cassava should be washed clean, peeled, and cut into rectangular pieces about the length of a finger joint and moderately thin.
The green onions should be cut into small pieces.
Tip:- If you soak the vegetarian beef slices in cold water, they will be chewier and tastier.
- Do not cut the cassava too thin or too thick; estimate the thickness so that a piece can be nicely wrapped in the vegetarian beef slice.

Sauté the ingredients
Place a pan on the stove and heat it with 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add the green onions and sauté until fragrant.
Then, add the vegetarian beef slices and stir-fry for about 3 – 5 minutes until cooked.
