How to Choose Fresh and Delicious Chicken Eggs
- To choose fresh and delicious chicken eggs, you should select those with rough, bumpy shells, and when held up to the light, there should be a small air chamber, with a round yolk that is orange or light pink, centered in the middle.
- For industrial chicken eggs, you should choose those with darker shells and no cracks.
- Do not buy chicken eggs that have black spots or pale colors on the shell, as they may be old.
- When placing the egg close to your ear, if you shake it gently and hear a noise or see it move strongly, it definitely means the egg is old or spoiled, so you absolutely should not buy it.
How to make Donut using a non-stick pan
-
Mixing the dough
First, add the liquid mixture consisting of 60g of eggs, 50g of condensed milk, 40g of unsweetened fresh milk, and 2.5g of dry yeast into a bowl, and mix well.
Then, add a little salt to 150g of all-purpose flour and mix well.
Next, pour the liquid mixture into the flour and use chopsticks to mix until the flour absorbs all the water, then let it rest for about 10 minutes.
-
Kneading the dough
Place the dough on the table, then add 25g of softened unsalted butter, and knead for about 15 minutes until the dough forms a smooth ball, then let it rise for the first time for 2 hours.
-
Divide the dough
After 2 hours of rising, take the dough out and knead it for about 5 minutes to deflate it, then divide the dough into 6 equal parts and roll them into balls. Next, flatten them and use a round object to create a hole in the center of each dough piece.
Then, prepare parchment paper and place each dough piece on top to rise for the second time for about 45 minutes.
-
Fry the donuts
First, place a pan on the stove, and then add cooking oil. When the oil is shimmering, add each piece of dough and reduce the heat to medium.
Next, use chopsticks to stir in a circular motion to ensure the donuts are evenly round. Turn the donuts regularly so that both sides are golden brown. When the donuts are evenly golden, they are cooked, and you just need to remove them to drain the oil.
Tip:- When dropping the donuts into the pan, you should hold parchment paper to avoid sticking to your hands or deforming the donuts.
- When frying the donuts, keep the heat medium; do not use high heat as it will not only cause the donuts to not puff up but also risk burning them.
-
Decorate the donuts
You should melt the chocolate using the double boiler method. After that, wait for the donuts to cool completely, then roll them in a layer of chocolate and sprinkle with colorful candy to decorate.
-
Final Product
The perfect combination of eggs, milk, and rich butter, fragrant with the characteristic flavor of chocolate promises to bring you an irresistible delicious cake.
The round, crispy donuts with eye-catching colors will surely delight you.
