How to choose good, quality dried fish

  • You should choose pieces of dried fish that are firm, have a dry surface, and are not leaking water or moldy.
  • Prioritize choosing those that are pre-packaged and stored in vacuum-sealed bags to ensure quality and food safety.
  • Do not choose pieces that have an unusual smell when sniffed, or have many unusual gray-black spots on the surface.

How to prepare Dried Beef Fish

  • Prepare the beef fish

    After buying the beef fish, wash it thoroughly, scrape off the scales, fins, cut off the head, and remove the internal organs, then wash it clean with water. Next, to eliminate the fishy smell, soak the fish in about 1 liter of water mixed with 1 tablespoon of vinegar for about 7 minutes.

  • Marinate the fish with salt and apply oil

    After the fish is dry, take salt and rub it evenly on all sides of the fish, both outside and inside the fish’s belly!
