Drying the Shrimp

Spread the shrimp on a plate and put them in the microwave at medium heat (M Low) for 30 minutes.
After microwaving, check the shrimp; if they are not dry enough, continue microwaving for an additional 3 minutes, repeating this until the shrimp are dry, then take them out to cool.
Sun-Drying the Shrimp Traditionally.
After preparing the shrimp, arrange them in a basket and sun-dry them under strong sunlight for about 2-3 days. During the drying process, remember to turn them frequently to ensure they dry quickly and evenly.
After completing the process, store the dried shrimp in a tightly sealed glass jar.
