How to choose fresh and delicious ingredients
How to choose fresh and delicious catfish heads
- You should choose fresh catfish heads that have shiny, lustrous skin.
- Fresh fish heads usually have clear eyes, not cloudy, slimy, and sunken in.
- Additionally, you should observe the gills, choosing heads with gills firmly attached to the body and that do not feel slimy when touched.
How to choose fresh and delicious carrots
- Fresh carrots are those with taut, shiny skins, without many unusual black spots.
- Prioritize choosing carrots with fresh green tops, firmly attached to the body of the carrot!
- You should not choose those that feel soft, bruised, and damaged in part, as they have lost their crispness and do not have much nutritional value.
How to choose fresh and delicious tomatoes
- You should choose fruits that are pink-red, feel firm in hand, and have a slight softness when gently squeezed.
- In particular, you should choose fruits with fresh stems that are firmly attached to the body of the tomato to ensure they are still fresh and can be stored for a long time.
- You can also choose by smelling; naturally ripe tomatoes often have a faint, pleasant aroma when smelled.
How to choose delicious fresh pineapples
- To choose delicious pineapples, you should select those with bright yellow skin, which may have a slight hint of green patches.
- You should choose fruits that are slightly short but wide, as these tend to be sweeter and have more flesh.
- You can also choose by smelling; select those that you can faintly smell the characteristic fragrance of pineapples. If the aroma is too strong, the pineapple may be overripe.
- To make this dish really delicious, you should choose pineapples that are just ripe, not overly ripe.
