How to choose fresh chicken eggs
- For industrial chicken eggs, the outer shell is usually dark brown, uniformly colored, without cracks and without black spots. In contrast, eggs that have been stored for a long time will have pale shells and more black spots.
- You can touch the surface of the eggshell; if it feels rough and slightly textured, it is a fresh egg, while a smooth surface indicates the egg has been stored for quite a while.
- You can hold the egg and gently shake it close to your ear to listen. If you hear a sound, the egg has been stored for a long time; the louder the sound (the egg inside moves), the more likely it is that the egg is spoiled or is an egg that a hen is incubating. In contrast, if there is no sound, it is a fresh chicken egg.

How to make French toast – fried egg bread

Mix the egg and milk mixture
Put 375ml of fresh milk, 2 eggs (shelled), 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract into a bowl. Mix the mixture well.
Tip: Depending on your preference, you can add 1 tablespoon of liquor to enhance the flavor.

Soak the bread in the mixture
Pour the egg and milk mixture onto a plate or tray.
Dip the slices of bread into the mixture for about 30 seconds on each side.
Note: To prevent the bread from getting too wet and mushy, you should dip the bread in batches and fry immediately.

Fry the bread
Place a pan on the stove over medium heat, add unsalted butter and let it melt.
When the pan is hot and the butter has melted, take a slice of bread from the tray and drop it into the pan. Fry for about 1 minute, then flip the bread over.
When the outer crust is golden and crispy, take the bread out and repeat the process.
