Prepare the ingredients
Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly with water. Then, use a knife to cut the potatoes into thin strips about the thickness of a small finger and arrange them on a plate.
Tip: To prevent the potatoes from becoming mushy, do not cut them too thin!Next, sprinkle 50g flour evenly over the prepared potatoes, using chopsticks to stir until the potatoes are coated with flour.
Then, crack 1 egg into a bowl, add 1/3 teaspoon of salt, 1/3 teaspoon of sugar, and 1/3 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, then use chopsticks to mix well until the egg is dissolved.

Place the potatoes in a steamer, then set the steamer over a pot of boiling water. After that, steam the potatoes on high heat for 5 – 6 minutes. Once steamed, separate each piece of potato if they are stuck together.
