You add the mixture to make teriyaki sauce including: 20ml soy sauce, 110gr brown sugar into a bowl and stir well.
Then add 7.5gr minced ginger, 5gr minced garlic, 15ml honey, 15ml sesame oil, and 45ml Mirin into the bowl and stir well.
Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture into a pot and bring to a boil. When the teriyaki sauce boils, reduce the heat and simmer for about 4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Remove the pot from the stove and let the teriyaki sauce cool to complete.
Note: When the teriyaki sauce has completely cooled, pour it into jars with tight lids and store it in the refrigerator for long-term use.
Wash the salmon fillet thoroughly, crush or blend some ginger and mix it with a little white wine, then massage the salmon evenly, marinate for about 5 – 10 minutes and then rinse with water. After that, pat the salmon dry.

Rinse the salmon fillet with diluted salt water. Then, soak the salmon fillet in diluted lemon water for about 2 – 3 minutes to eliminate the fishy smell, then remove and let it drain.
To prepare for the next step, use paper towels to lightly pat the water off the fish, then cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Place a non-stick pan on the stove. Wait for the pan to heat, then add the salmon fillet and grill on medium-low heat for about 3 minutes; at this point, the salmon will release its fat, so no additional oil is needed!
Next, turn the fish over so both sides become golden and crispy, then reduce the heat, add 3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, and gently stir for about 3 – 4 minutes. When the sauce thickens slightly, taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary, then turn off the heat.
You just need to arrange the salmon on a plate, serve with sautéed or mashed potatoes and enjoy while it’s still hot for a more complete flavor of the dish!
