How to make Matcha Green Tea Kit Kat Ice Cream

Pouring the ice cream mold
First, lay a layer of parchment paper in the mold, then scoop 1/2 box of vanilla ice cream into it and spread it evenly in the ice cream mold. After spreading a layer about 1 – 2 cm thick, sprinkle a little chocolate chips and some raspberry jam on top of the ice cream.
Next, place the green tea Kit Kat bars on top to create a crispy ice cream filling.
Then continue to cover with the remaining 1/2 of the vanilla ice cream in the box and similarly add a bit of raspberry jam, chocolate chips, and the remaining green tea Kit Kat bars.
After pouring the mold, put it in the refrigerator for 3 – 4 hours to let the ice cream freeze completely.
Tip: Depending on your preference, you can use other types of dried fruits for the ice cream filling. -
Prepare the chocolate mixture
Put 200ml of whole milk and 20gr of powdered sugar into a pot. Place it on the stove and heat the milk mixture until it is slightly warm, then add 150gr of dark chocolate to the pot, stirring continuously until the chocolate completely melts.
After that, turn off the stove, lift the pot down, and let the chocolate cool slightly.
Note: you should not heat this chocolate cream mixture for too long or let it boil, as it will separate and cause the chocolate to clump. -
Finish
Take the ice cream mold out and gently turn it upside down to release the ice cream. Place the ice cream on a mold with grooves and put a plate underneath to catch the chocolate.
When the chocolate has cooled, tap the parchment paper on the block of ice cream, then gently pour the chocolate over the ice cream to create a chocolate coating on the outside.
Then put it back in the refrigerator and let it sit for another 2 hours for the chocolate layer to harden and stick firmly to the ice cream.
When the ice cream is completely frozen, take it out and cut it into bite-sized pieces, and you are done!
