Glutinous rice flour 200 gr Soybean flour 70 gr Sugar 25 gr Salt A little Water 250 ml

  • You can buy glutinous rice flour and soybean flour at baking ingredient stores, large supermarkets, or on e-commerce websites.
  • When purchasing, check the expiration date, and the product packaging must be intact and not torn.

How to make Injeolmi rice cake

  • Mixing rice flour

    Put 200g of glutinous rice flour, 25g of sugar, and a little salt into a bowl and mix well.

    Next, add 250ml of hot water and stir until the flour mixture is smooth.

  • Steaming and kneading the rice flour

    Cover the bowl of flour tightly with plastic wrap, then place it in the microwave on the highest setting for 3 minutes.

    After 3 minutes, take the flour out, mix it well, and continue to microwave for another minute.

    After 1 minute, mix the flour again until it reaches the desired elasticity.

    Tip: The more you knead the dough, the chewier and tastier the final product will be.
