How to choose the right butterfly pea flower

For fresh butterfly pea flowers

  • When selecting fresh butterfly pea flowers, choose those with large blossoms, green stems, and petals that are not wilted, bruised, or damaged by insects.
  • There are usually 2 types of butterfly pea flowers: single and double. The uses of both types are the same, but the single flowers have one petal, while the double flowers have more petals.
  • It is advisable to buy double flowers for a richer and more beautiful color when using.

For dried butterfly pea flowers

  • It is best to purchase dried butterfly pea flowers from reputable sources, with tightly sealed and careful packaging, and clear information about the origin.
  • Avoid buying products that are discolored, show signs of moisture, or are past their expiration date to prevent health issues.
