How to Cook Tomato Sauce Tilapia

  • Prepare the tilapia

    When you buy tilapia, gut it, cut off the fins, and scale it. Then, rinse it thoroughly with water and soak the fish in diluted salt water for about 5 minutes, rinse it again with water, and let it drain.

  • Prepare tilapia

    After purchasing, clean the tilapia by removing the scales, gutting it, and using a knife to cut it into small pieces about 1 – 2 finger lengths.

    Then, rub the fish with salt, rinse it with water 2 – 3 times to clean, and place it in a basket to drain.

    Fry the fish for about 5 – 7 minutes until one side is golden, then flip to the other side and fry for another 5 – 7 minutes until the fish is golden brown on both sides, then turn off the stove.
