In part 1, add the beetroot juice, 1/2 tablespoon of cooking oil, 25g of sugar, 100g of flour, and 2g of yeast, and mix well.

Once completed, place a steaming pot on the stove, add water to the bottom of the pot, arrange the buns in the steamer, and steam the buns for 30 minutes from the time the water boils until cooked.

How to Choose Beautiful, Safe Beets

  • Prioritize selecting firm beets that are not soft, with intact outer skin and still have the soil covering.
  • Choose beets with a round bottom as they usually have a sweeter taste, while beets with a flat bottom tend to be less sweet.
  • Select beets with fresh stems and leaves; when pressed, the body should be firm, solid, and have a characteristic fragrant smell.
  • Avoid purchasing beets with wrinkled skin; if pressed, they feel soft and watery as they may have been stored too long and are no longer fresh.
