Ingredients for Pan-fried Sausage Pizza Serves 4 people

Flour 250 gr Yeast 3 gr Sausages 3 pieces Corn 1 ear Bell pepper 1 piece Chicken thigh mushrooms 100 gr Tomatoes 3 pieces Cooking oil 3 tablespoons Mozzarella cheese 200 gr Ketchup 2 tablespoons Common spices a little (Salt/ sugar/ seasoning powder)

How to choose fresh and delicious ingredients

How to choose quality flour

  • For this type of cake, you should choose all-purpose flour (type 11 flour). This ingredient contains a fairly high protein content, often used in many types of cakes.
  • All-purpose flour also helps make the cake chewy and firm when kneaded a lot, especially suitable for making pizza crust.
  • When choosing all-purpose flour, you should select flour that is white in color, with the characteristic aroma of wheat.
  • Avoid choosing flour that is too old, yellowed, damp, clumpy, or has a strange odor.
  • All-purpose flour is widely sold and can be easily found at markets, supermarkets, grocery stores,… The price of all-purpose flour ranges from 10,000 – 45,000 VND/ package.

How to make sausage pizza in a non-stick pan

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Tomatoes you bought should have their stems removed, washed clean, and drained. Then, you use a knife to make two light diagonal cuts on the top of the tomato. You place a pot of water on the stove, and when the water boils, you add the tomatoes to blanch briefly.

    When you see the tomatoes have peeled according to the cuts you made, take them out and put them into a bowl of cold water, using your hands to easily peel the tomatoes.

    Finally, you cut the tomatoes into quarters and chop them finely with a knife.

    The corn you bought should be husked, the silk removed, then proceed to separate the kernels, wash them with water, and let them drain.

    The bell peppers should be washed clean, stems and seeds removed, and then cut into small dice.

    The mushrooms should be washed and soaked in diluted salt water for 10 minutes, then taken out to drain, cutting the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.

    The sausage should be cut into small pieces as desired using a knife.

  • Mix the dough

    Prepare a large bowl to add 125ml of clean water, then add 3g of yeast and stir well to let the yeast rest for about 5 minutes.

    Next, gradually sift the flour into the bowl and start kneading the dough by hand (note to wash your hands clean before kneading). Knead the dough for about 7 minutes, then add 1/3 teaspoon of salt and continue kneading.

    Then add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and continue kneading until the dough is completely soft and smooth, not sticky or wet.

    Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes, then place the dough onto a clean surface and sprinkle a layer of dry flour so that the dough does not stick.

    Knead the dough for another 5 minutes, then place the dough in the bowl and cover it tightly with plastic wrap, additionally cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 2 hours at room temperature.

  • Make the Pizza Crust

    After 2 hours when the dough has risen, you place the dough on a flat surface, knead it lightly for about 3 minutes, then divide the dough into equal small portions, continue to wrap them tightly with plastic wrap, and let the dough rise for another 2 hours.

    Next, you take each portion of dough, roll it into a ball and use a rolling pin to roll it out until the thickness is about 5mm, then use a fork or toothpick to poke small holes on the surface so the pizza can rise fluffy and soft.

    Tip: You can roll the dough and adjust the thickness of the crust according to your preference!

  • Make Tomato Sauce

    You place a pot on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and wait for the oil to heat up, then add the chopped tomatoes and sauté for about 1 minute before adding 50ml of water to cover the tomatoes.

    Next, add 1 teaspoon of seasoning, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and simmer until the tomatoes are soft and thickened, then add 2 tablespoons of ketchup, stir well for another minute, then turn off the heat.

  • Making the filling

    You place a pan on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and heat it, then add corn and stir-fry for about 1 minute before turning off the heat and transferring to a plate.

    Next, you do the same for the bell peppers and mushrooms, stir-frying briefly before transferring to a plate.

    Finally, add another tablespoon of cooking oil to the pan, wait for the oil to heat up, then add the sausages and fry until lightly golden before turning off the heat and transferring to a plate.

  • Baking the pizza

    You place another pan on the stove, turn on a low flame to heat the pan for about 5 minutes, then add the pizza base, cover it, and bake on low heat for about 5 – 7 minutes.

    Next, you uncover it, flip the pizza surface, then cover it again and bake for another 3 minutes.

    You open the pan, use a spoon to spread tomato sauce on the pizza base, then layer with a slice of sausage, sprinkle a little cheese, and then gradually add ingredients like bell peppers, corn, and mushrooms evenly over the pizza surface.

    Finally, you cover with a layer of cheese, close the lid, and bake on low heat for about 10 – 15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted, then turn off the heat and take the pizza out onto a plate.
