How to Make Potato Soup

  • Prepare the Ingredients

    After purchasing, wash the potatoes to remove dirt from the skin and discard any spoiled parts. Then, use a knife to cut them into small pieces.

    Wash the green onions and chop them finely.

    Place a pot on the stove, and once the pot is hot, add 1 tablespoon of butter.

    After that, pour in 120ml of warm water and 1 teaspoon of salt, stir well, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes.

    After 10 minutes, if the potatoes are not soft, you can add another 120ml of warm water and continue cooking until the potatoes are soft, then turn off the heat.

    You cut the potatoes into small pieces and gradually add them to the blender to mash.

    After about 2 minutes, you add 100ml of fresh milk to the blender to mash with the potatoes.

    First, you place a pot on the stove, then add all the mashed potato mixture and 200ml of fresh milk into the pot, cooking over medium heat.

    Next, you use a ladle to stir the mixture evenly. Then, add 1/2 tablespoon of butter into the pot and continue stirring until the ingredients are blended.

    Continue to add the remaining 100ml of fresh milk and stir evenly; you can adjust the amount of milk to achieve the desired thickness of the soup.
