  • Prepare the asparagus

    Cut off the tough ends of the asparagus, wash it thoroughly, let it drain, and then cut into small pieces about 2 – 3cm for easier blending, and place them in a bowl.

    Add the asparagus and a slice of ginger into a blender, then squeeze the juice from 1/2 a lemon into the blender.

    Add about 50ml of water and 2 – 3 ice cubes to the blender. Blend the asparagus mixture for about 5 – 7 minutes until there are no more lumps.

How to Make Asparagus Juice

  • Prepare the asparagus

    Use a peeler to remove some of the skin at the base of the asparagus, then wash the entire stem and the peeled skin thoroughly. Drain the asparagus in a basket to let it dry.

    Use a knife to slightly crush the asparagus and then cut it into pieces about 4 – 5cm long.

    Put 2 liters of filtered water into a pot and place it on the stove to boil over high heat. After about 10 minutes, when the water starts to boil, add the chopped asparagus and the asparagus peels.

    Cover the pot and simmer the asparagus water for 20 minutes on low heat. After 20 minutes, turn off the heat and strain the asparagus water through a sieve to remove the asparagus pulp.

    The strained asparagus water should then be mixed with 50g of brown sugar; if you don’t have brown sugar, you can substitute it with granulated sugar or rock sugar, and then use a ladle to stir until dissolved.

    Store the asparagus water in the refrigerator refrigerator for about 2 hours and it will be ready to drink.
