How to make Sweet Banh Beo with Coconut Milk

Mix the coconut milk mixture
First, add 200gr of sugar and 150ml of water into a pot and stir well over medium heat for 5 minutes until the sugar completely dissolves, then turn off the heat and let it cool.
Next, add 300ml of coconut milk, 100gr of rice flour, 1/3 teaspoon of salt, and 2.5 tablespoons of the cooked sugar water into a bowl and stir well. (coconut milk mixture 1)
In a new bowl, add 200gr of rice flour, 100gr of tapioca flour, 700ml of diluted coconut milk, and the remaining sugar water, then stir well. (coconut milk mixture 2).

Steaming the Cake
Boil a pot of water, place the steamer on top, and then put the cake mold inside. After that, add 2 tablespoons of the coconut milk mixture 2 into each mold, cover it, and steam for about 5 minutes.
Next, add another 2 tablespoons of the coconut milk mixture 1 on top of the cake and cover it to steam for another 5 minutes.
Continue doing this until all the prepared coconut milk is used up.
After about 10 minutes of steaming, take the cake out to cool, sprinkle a little roasted sesame on top, and it’s done.
