Seaweed 2 sheets Spam 200 gr Eggs 2 Green onions 1 stalk Kimchi 30 gr Cheddar cheese 2 slices Cooking oil 1 tablespoon

How to make Kimbap

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Slice the spam into thin pieces.

    Wash the kimchi and green onions. Cut the kimchi into small pieces and finely chop the green onions.

  • Fry eggs and cold meat

    Heat up a pan on low heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.

    When the oil is hot, crack in 2 eggs to fry sunny-side up.

    Use a paper towel to wipe out the excess oil in the pan. Then add the cold meat and fry evenly.

  • Arrange the ingredients

    Cut a line to the middle of the seaweed sheet. Place white rice in the top left corner, pressing down on the rice to secure it. Then place 1 slice of ham on top of the rice, 1 slice of cheese on the right, and 1 egg on the bottom right of the seaweed.

    Add a bit of kimchi and green onions on top of the rice. Spread it evenly and press down the rice a little.

    Then fold in order from the rice over the ham, then fold over to the cheese and fold down to the fried egg. For the remaining kimbap, you also arrange and fold similarly.

    Wrap the kimbap in plastic wrap, then use a knife to cut the kimbap diagonally in half to finish.
