  • Pork should have a dry membrane on the outside, and the surface of the cut should feel firm and not sticky to the touch, which indicates good quality meat.
  • Additionally, fresh and delicious pork will have a pinkish-red lean part that is tender, while the fat should be opaque white. It is best to choose meat that still feels elastic when pressed.
  • If you see the meat piece is dark red or turning black, you should avoid buying it as it may be pork raised with lean meat enhancers.
  • Avoid buying meat that is light green, darkened, or has red skin as it is pork that has gone bad and should not be consumed as it can affect health.
  • For porridge dishes for babies starting to eat solids, you need to buy meat from reputable and quality sources to ensure nutrition for the baby. You can find pork at TasteVN supermarket or shop through the e-commerce market Bachhoaxanh.com.
