How to make Sugarcane Root Water

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Wash the sugarcane thoroughly, drain, and cut in half. Peel the roots, wash them with water several times, and then let them drain.

    Wash the pineapple leaves with water and then let them drain.

    Place a pot on the stove, add the sugarcane, roots, and 1.5 liters of water, and cook over medium heat for about 25 minutes.

    Next, add the pineapple leaves and cook for about 5 minutes, then remove all the solids, keeping only the liquid, then add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt.

    Bring to a boil again and strain through a sieve to remove any remaining solids, making the liquid clearer.
