How to choose delicious lotus seeds

  • For fresh lotus seeds

You should buy lotus seeds right after they are harvested, still unpeeled, with a creamy white or deep yellow color, and a firm, round outer layer because these lotus seeds are very fragrant, not tough, and will have a characteristic aroma when cooked.

After purchasing the lotus seeds, you should dry them in the sun, avoiding moisture. Once the lotus seeds are dry, store them in a jar to keep them for a longer time.

  • For dried lotus seeds

You should choose dried lotus seeds that are processed by hand and can be peeled by hand, with a cloudy white color, small, even seeds, as they will retain their flavor when cooked, keeping the lotus aroma intact.

You should select reputable places with clear origins to buy the best dried lotus seeds!

You should choose chickens that move flexibly, have smooth feathers with shine, and the legs do not show bruises, swelling, or unusual colors, indicating a healthy chicken.

  • For processed chicken.

You should choose chickens that are of moderate size and weight, with thin skin, characteristic golden color, feeling smooth and having good elasticity when touched.

The meat inside should have a natural pink-red color, without bruises or blood clots, indicating good quality chicken.
