How to choose fresh ingredients

How to choose fresh carrots

  • Choose carrots that are bright in color, dark orange, smooth skin, green leaves, and not bruised.
  • Additionally, choose those that are still firm and of medium size.
  • Avoid choosing those that have wilted leaves, cracked skin, or have spots, and whose tops are green.

How to choose fresh and delicious green beans

  • Choose green beans with green stems, looking fresh, without black spots or uneven colors.
  • Delicious green beans will have a long, flat shape without bulging or indentations. If the surface has many bumps, it indicates that the beans inside are large and the beans are old, which will not taste good.
  • Avoid choosing green beans that look too perfect, such as shiny, smooth, with few hairs, and no visible pests or powdery residue. Because they might have been sprayed with a lot of pesticides, and the remaining residues are extremely harmful to health.
