- Baby broccoli is similar to regular broccoli but has a smaller stalk (about 1cm in size) and is darker green compared to broccoli.
- When selecting baby broccoli, choose stalks that are intact, without scratches or bruises.
- The buds should be dark green and round, as this indicates sweeter baby broccoli.
How to choose good snow peas
- Choose snow peas that are dark green, look fresh, and show no signs of insect bites.
- The peas should still have their stems and be about 4 – 5cm in size.
How to prepare Garlic and Honey Pan-fried Chicken

Prepare the chicken
After purchasing pre-processed chicken, rub coarse salt onto the chicken and rinse it with clean water, then let the thigh piece drain.

Prepare other ingredients
For broccoli, trim off any dirty base (if any) and cut diagonally about 2 – 3cm thick. Then, rinse briefly with salt water, clean water, and let drain.
For snow peas, cut off both ends and rinse with clean water. Clean the green onions and cut diagonally about 2cm thick. Chop the cilantro.

Marinate the chicken with spices
Place the chicken thighs in a large bowl and sequentially add the spices: 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and minced garlic, mix well, and let the chicken absorb the spices for about 15 minutes.

Pan-fried chicken
Place the pan on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up, then add all the chicken (marinated), and turn the heat to medium to proceed with pan-frying the chicken until it is evenly cooked on both sides.

You continue to add broccoli on top of the chicken along with scallions and snow peas. At the same time, add 1/3 cup of water to the pan, cover it, or use a larger pan than the one you are cooking the chicken in. Cook for about 5 minutes.

How to Make Pan-Fried Chicken with Cream Sauce

Prepare Chicken and Onions
Buy pre-prepared chicken, then rub it with coarse salt and rinse it with clean water, then let it drain.
Next, peel the onion and cut it into thin wedges, about 1cm thick. Peel and finely chop the garlic.

Marinate the chicken with spices
First, mix the spice mixture consisting of: 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of Paprika, and 2 teaspoons of Oregano.
Next, scoop about 2 teaspoons of the spice mixture along with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/3 teaspoon of pepper into the bowl with the chicken, mix well and marinate for about 20 minutes.

Dip the chicken in flour
In a large bowl, add: 1 cup of all-purpose flour, the remaining spice mixture (from the previous step), 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/3 teaspoon of pepper, and mix well.
Then, roll each piece of chicken in the flour mixture.

Pan-fry the chicken
Place a pan on the stove, add about 100ml of olive oil, wait for the oil to heat up, then add all the chicken (that has been coated in flour) to pan-fry.
Cover the pan to prevent oil splatter and to fry one side of the chicken until golden for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Then, uncover to fry the other side of the chicken. Remove the fried chicken.

Make the cream sauce
You continue to use the chicken frying pan, add all the chopped onions, and stir-fry for about 4 minutes over medium heat.
Next, add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of regular chili powder, 1/3 teaspoon of pepper, and 2 tablespoons of butter, stir well. Then, add 1 tablespoon of the remaining flour mixture (for coating the chicken), stir until the onions soften, then add 2 cups of chicken broth.
Cook for about 3 – 4 minutes, then add 300ml of whipping cream, stir well, and reduce the heat slightly if needed for another 3 minutes.

Add the chicken (that has been fried) into the cream sauce pan, use a spoon to drizzle the cream sauce over the surface and cover the pan. Turn off the stove.
Then, place the pan in the oven at 218 degrees Celsius for 1 hour, then take it out.
Note:
- You can pour the cream mixture into a tray and arrange the chicken inside, then place it in the oven instead of holding it in the pan (make sure to choose a pan that can be used in the oven).
- You need to preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 218 degrees Celsius.
