  • Steeping tea

    First, place 1 bag of black tea in a cup, add 100ml of boiling water, and steep the tea for about 10 minutes to extract all the tea essence.

    Next, add in a new cup in the following order: a little ice, 200ml of unsweetened fresh milk, tea essence, and 40ml of pandan syrup. Then, just stir well and you can enjoy it.

How to make Pandan milk tea with tapioca pearls

  • Prepare the pandan leaves

    Wash the pandan leaves thoroughly and tie them neatly into a bundle. Place a pot on the stove with 400ml of water, then add the bundle of pandan leaves and bring to a boil.

    Boil for about 5 – 7 minutes until the water starts to emit a light fragrance, then turn off the heat.

    Put into a teapot: 1 bag of black tea, the freshly boiled water along with pandan leaves, then cover it tightly and steep for 10 minutes.

    After steeping, remove the pandan leaves and tea bag, and let the tea cool completely.

    Put about 3 teaspoons of brown sugar pearls into a glass, then hold the glass horizontally and rotate it so that the brown sugar coats evenly on the inside of the glass.

    Finally, add ice cubes, 600ml of unsweetened fresh milk, and then pour in the pandan tea until it is close to the rim of the glass. At this point, just stir well and you can enjoy it right away.

    Tip: Depending on your preference, you can adjust the amount of tea, and if you like it sweeter, you can add a bit more brown sugar syrup as well.
