    How to choose oatmeal correctly for baking

    • You should choose oatmeal with white grains slightly speckled with yellow from the cracked husk. Buy oatmeal that has a light sweet aroma, with intact grains that are not ground by pests.
    • Choose oatmeal packaged carefully, with grains that are still fresh and not damp, opting for branded types that are still within the expiry date.
    • Do not buy if you see the packaging is torn, oatmeal has mold, or has an unpleasant smell.

    • You can easily find chocolate chips at baking ingredient stores, large supermarket chains, or supermarkets that sell imported goods, or search on e-commerce websites.
    • If you can’t find chocolate chips, you can substitute them with chocolate bars and chop them up instead.
    • When buying, remember to check the product packaging and expiry date to ensure safety for your health.

    How to make Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies using a rice cooker

    • Mix the dry and wet ingredients

      First, put 240g of instant oats, 180g of all-purpose flour, 95g of vanilla pudding powder (or milk powder), 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt into a large bowl and mix well.

      In another bowl, add 227g of unsalted butter, 100g of white sugar, and 100g of brown sugar, mixing until well combined.

      Next, add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 117g of chopped walnuts, and 160g of raisins to the second bowl, mixing well once more.
