Tools needed
How to make sugar-free weight loss peanut butter
-
Roast and shell the peanuts
Place a pan on the stove and heat it. Add the peanuts and stir continuously.
Then reduce the heat to low and roast the peanuts for about 10 minutes, until you hear popping sounds, the shell turns brown-red, and it releases a fragrant smell, indicating the peanuts are done.
Transfer the peanuts to a bowl or a basket, and shell the outer skin of the peanuts.
-
Crush the peanuts
Because peanuts are quite hard, you should put them into the nut grinder (pepper grinder) of the multifunctional blender to crush the peanuts first.
Tip: If you don’t have this grinder, you can use a mortar and pestle to crush the peanuts as well. -
Blend into peanut butter
Add the crushed peanuts into the blender, add 15ml of honey, 20ml of olive oil, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, then blend the peanuts until they are very smooth and fine.
Initially, the peanut pieces are still quite large, so the blender cannot stir them on its own. To achieve a smooth blend, press the blend button for about 15 seconds, then stir the peanuts and continue blending.
After a few stirring sessions, the peanuts will turn into a butter-like consistency, becoming thinner and creamier. To avoid damaging the blender, when the peanuts are finely blended, you should blend for about 1-2 more minutes and then stop.
After the peanuts have been blended into peanut butter, transfer it to a jar or bowl, and you’re done.
Tip: You can blend the peanut butter to be very smooth or leave a bit of small crunchy pieces for texture depending on your preference and taste! -
