    Tip: To ensure the shrimp remains high quality and safe to eat, if using paper towels, you should only choose unscented, non-dusty paper towels!

  • Dough Mixing

    First, you proof 2g of dry yeast in 30ml of water for about 10 minutes.

    Once the yeast has bloomed, add it to 130g of all-purpose flour and mix well. Then, crack an egg into the bowl of flour and mix the mixture evenly.

    To make the dough smooth and even, you can wear plastic gloves and knead the dough until it forms a smooth ball, not sticky, and feels dry to the touch.

    Next, add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil and knead the dough once more. After that, cover the dough tightly with plastic wrap and proof for 30 minutes.

  • Rolling and Cutting the Dough

    You place the proofed dough on a flat surface, put parchment paper on top, and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out thinly. The dough should be thick enough to wrap the shrimp without breaking during frying.

    Then, cut the dough into rectangular pieces measuring 7cm long and 5cm wide, just right for the size of the shrimp.

  • Wrap shrimp

    You place one shrimp along with a slice of Mozzarella cheese on the dough. Then, carefully wrap the dough around the shrimp, pinching tightly at both the head and the bottom, leaving only the shrimp tail exposed.

    You repeat the same steps with the remaining 4 shrimp, then use plastic wrap to cover the shrimp and let them rest for another 15 minutes.

    You add the remaining cooking oil to the pan, when the oil is hot, add the shrimp and fry them one by one over medium heat. To achieve a golden crispy outer layer and soft cooked shrimp inside, remember to stir the shrimp evenly!
