Take a bowl of water, add about 1 teaspoon of salt, then soak the sliced sake in the bowl for about 15 minutes and rinse with water.
Next, place the sake in a bowl and marinate it with a little sugar and salt for about 1 hour before frying.
Mix the batter
Pour all 150gr of frying powder into a bowl. Add 150ml of water, use a spoon to mix until the batter is smooth and thick. Pour the sake into the bowl of batter, ensuring the sake pieces are evenly coated on both sides, preparing for the crispy fried sake.
Fry the sake
Place a large pan on the gas stove, add 400ml of cooking oil, and set the heat to medium. Wait for 2 – 3 minutes for the oil to heat up, then drop the sake pieces coated in the frying powder into the pan. Flip the sake pieces to cook evenly on both sides, frying until the sake is golden and crispy with a wonderful aroma.
Then turn off the heat, remove the sake, and let it drain the oil.
