  • When buying pork belly, you should choose pieces of meat that are light pink, bright pink, with white fat, a thin layer of fat, tender meat but with a firm structure between the layers of meat and fat, the meat has a certain elasticity and a distinctive aroma.
  • You should not choose pieces that are too dark in color, have a lot of fat, a loose structure, or have a foul smell. This may indicate that the meat has been treated with lean-enhancing substances, or the meat from pigs that have been raised for a long time, which is no longer tasty.

  • Prepare the pork

    To eliminate the unpleasant smell of pork, rub salt on the piece of meat, then rinse it with clean water and use a knife to cut the meat into bite-sized slices.

How to Make Stir-fried Okra with Minced Meat

  • Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut off the stem of the okra, soak it in diluted salt water for about 10 minutes, then take it out, rinse it with water to drain, and cut it into bite-sized diagonal pieces.

    Peel the shallots and garlic, then finely chop them.

    Heat a pan on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, then sauté 1 tablespoon of minced onion and garlic until fragrant.
