  • Prepare the ingredients

    Remove the outer membrane from the pork liver, wash it clean, cut it into thick slices, and soak it in milk for 20 minutes. Peel the garlic and shallots, then mince them.

    Marinate the pork liver with shallots, minced garlic, seasoning, fish sauce, sugar, and 2/3 of a packet of five-spice powder, allowing it to absorb the flavors for 15 minutes.

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Wash the liver thoroughly under running water, remove all the blood, then cut into pieces about 1 – 1.2cm thick. This helps prevent the liver from drying out during cooking. After that, soak the liver in unsweetened fresh milk for about 25 – 30 minutes.
