Pork belly 1 piece Shallots 50 gr Garlic 50 gr Dried chili 1 cup Seasoning 1 tablespoon MSG a little Chili sauce 3 tablespoons Soy sauce 3 tablespoons Annatto oil 1 cup Honey 1/2 cup Five-spice powder 1 packet (powder form) Tây Ninh salt a little Various greens a little (lettuce/cucumber/herbs)

    Wash the pork cheek with salt, vinegar, lemon, and alcohol to completely eliminate the odor and dirt.

    Continue to blanch the pork cheek in boiling water.

    Rinse again with clean water and let it drain.

  • Making the marinade sauce for pork belly

    Chop the shallots and garlic and put them in a blender.

    Then add 1 teaspoon of five-spice powder, 1 tablespoon of Tây Ninh salt, 1 tablespoon of monosodium glutamate, 3 tablespoons of chili sauce, 3 tablespoons of annatto oil, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and a little chili powder.

    Blend everything until it becomes a delicious marinade mixture for the pork belly.
