  • Prepare the ingredients

    For pumpkin flowers, remove the sepals and the flower stamen as this part often has a slightly bitter taste. After that, soak the pumpkin flowers in diluted salt water for 5 minutes.

    Tip: When removing the flower stamen, to avoid tearing the petals, use one finger to gently separate the petal and pry the stamen out, then discard it.
