How to choose good pandan leaves
- To choose fresh pandan leaves, select medium-sized, straight, long leaves that have a dark green, even color.
- The older the pandan leaves, the darker green they will be; however, the leaves should still retain their freshness and shine without any yellowing spots.
- You should not choose pandan leaves that show signs of turning yellow or those that are dry. Also, avoid leaves that are torn or have many black spots appearing.
