How to choose good pandan leaves

  • To choose fresh pandan leaves, select medium-sized, straight, long leaves that have a dark green, even color.
  • The older the pandan leaves, the darker green they will be; however, the leaves should still retain their freshness and shine without any yellowing spots.
  • You should not choose pandan leaves that show signs of turning yellow or those that are dry. Also, avoid leaves that are torn or have many black spots appearing.

  • It is best to choose organic chia seeds from reputable brands to ensure the highest quality!
  • Avoid chia seeds that have a rancid oil smell or a moldy scent when held close to the nose.
  • Poor quality or immature chia seeds will have a brownish color or a slightly yellow tint.
  • Chia seeds that have been stored for a long time may have insects inside, such as weevils or larvae, so be sure to inspect carefully before purchasing.
