  • Prepare Ingredients

    Wash the cucumber and cut it into small long pieces. Place the crab stick in a bowl, shred it into thin, long strands.

  • Mix the Filling

    Add to the bowl with crab sticks: 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, a few drops of chili sauce, and mix well.

    Add 3/2 cups of rice into a large bowl, then add 3 tablespoons of vinegar and continue to mix until the rice absorbs the vinegar evenly.

  • Place rice on the seaweed leaf

    Wrap the sushi rolling bamboo mat with a layer of plastic wrap.

    Lay the seaweed leaf on the sushi rolling bamboo mat, fold 1/4 of the seaweed leaf and then carefully tear that part off. This means we only use 3/4 of the seaweed leaf to roll the sushi.

    Evenly spread rice over the entire surface of the seaweed, then lay another layer of plastic wrap on top.

    One hand holds the plastic wrap above, while the other hand goes underneath the seaweed leaf and flips it over. At this point, the seaweed will be on top and the plastic wrap will be underneath.

  • Sushi Roll

    Lay the crab sticks and cucumber on the seaweed sheet and carefully roll it up. Follow the rolling sequence, then gently press and hold, then roll again to ensure that after rolling, the sushi roll maintains its shape.

    Place the sushi roll on top of the rolling mat. Under the sushi rolling mat, spread a layer of crab sticks equal in length to the sushi roll above.

    Place the sushi roll on top of the crab stick layer just spread, then continue rolling, gently pressing and holding, then rolling again.

    Wrap the plastic wrap underneath the sushi roll to easily cut the sushi into even and precise pieces. Sprinkle a little sesame on the cut sushi rolls to make the dish look more appealing.

How to make soft crab stick sushi with avocado

  • Cook rice
